Llysdewi, Aberarth, Cardigan Bay

Llysdewi is a dog friendly cottage sleeping two adults and two children, ideally located just a few yards from the beach at Aberarth, on Cardigan Bay. The location provides a perfect getaway, with comfortable accommodation and stunning coastal scenery, right on the coastal footpath. The cottage has been recently renovated and comfortably furnished, providing a well equipped and cosy bolthole. The garden is an enclosed dog friendly area, with comfortable seating, and a view of the bay.

The picturesque harbour town of Aberaeron is a thirty minute walk along the coastal path (or a two minute drive). The town sits on the river Aeron, in the middle of Cardigan Bay, with it’s shops, pubs and restaurants. Cardigan Bay offers a tranquil, unspoilt coastline, with secluded sandy coves, award winning beaches and towering cliffs. The dog friendly beach at Aberarth is a beach combers delight, with endless pebbles and shells, or take the coastal path to the large beach at Llanon. The harbour town of New Quay is a short drive to the South, with boat trips to see dolphins and seals. Cwymtydu is just South of New Quay, and offers a circular walk of beaches, ruined forts and waterfalls. A perfect walk with a dog. Further South, award winning Aberporth and Mwnt beaches are within easy reach. Aberporth beach has a Blue Flag award and excellent water quality. The headland of Mwnt overlooks a small secluded sandy beach, with short cliff top walks. You will not need to travel to see nature. Occasionally you’ll see seals on Aberarth beach, and often Red Kites and Buzzards soaring above the garden.
